I’m teaching digital photography class, and we go through a LOT of AA and AAA batteries. For my money, the best rechargeables are the Energizer “Recharge” series with the fast-charger. The batteries (not including charger) are usually $10.99 for a 4-pack at Walgreens. However, through Saturday, the 4-pack is on sale for $7.99 (either size) – a very good deal. When I bought my first 4-pack, the register printed-out a coupon for 2 free Redbox DVD rentals (including Blu-Ray.) I have done this deal 3 times, and each time I got the unique coupon codes. So – for $24, I got 12 top-notch rechargeable batteries, and 6 DVD rentals from Redbox. The store manager said the offer will run through Saturday at midnight at Walgreens
