“I think that the Florida governor should have passed the Florida Speed Rail bill because Florida is the third highest unemployed state (as of January 25, 2011), Florida has an unemployment rate of 12%! What I think is that if the governor did pass the bill the unemployment rate would have improved.  I get that he does not want to pay for it but who said he had to pay for it?  What he could do is he could have it made and then it would give jobs to rail workers.  Also more businesses would grow around the high-speed rail. This would give people jobs to build it up.  People might ride the rail more because of crazy gas prices.  The Florida high-speed rail was going to go from Orlando to Tampa, which would be good, because it would improve the tourism in both Orlando and Tampa. Also it would make it easier for the people in Tampa to get to Orlando to see family or to go to the attractions like Universal and other attractions.”
