Once I took my car to a mechanic that has an AM radio show, nice place but his quote to replace a CV joint was four times the cost of having Oriental Motors replace the entire axle.
Taking your car to the dealer is financial suicide. All my vehicles are now over 10 years old, the oldest is 18 year old with 123,000 miles. The other two younger cars have over 185,000 miles and are still going strong.
