Office Depot has this printer for $99 this week.
Staples has this printer for $199, and with a $100 Manufacturer’s rebate. END result is you pay for the TAX on the printer plus the postage stamp to mail in the rebate. Be sure to follow the simple rules in The Frugal Factor when sending in the rebate.
So, goto Staples and have them Price Match the Office depot price. They should do it without any problems because the office depot price is without any rebate. Now when they do this for you the may tell you that you will not get the rebate because of the price match.
But in my experience this is false – because this is a Manufacturers rebate, also the rebate does not have a limit. Most are limit 1, but this is one rebate per product purchased. As you can see in the photo I have purchased FIVE (so far). I would have picked up a few more today, but honestly they would not fit in the car.
Make things easy – Print out the Office Depot Price, and check your local stores to see if they have them in stock.
The end cost, less than $7 each – and that is the TAX paid on the printer…….
